When the committee took on the great task of organizing this reunion, we did so with the philosophy that each of you was an amazing person that we were interested in knowing more about.  If we didn’t have the chance to know you much in high school, then it was an even greater honor and an opportunity to have that chance now, even if just for an evening.  Life is short and 25 years goes by in a flash.  Each moment in time is precious and we sought to make that weekend special and memorable for all.

We had 2 professional photographers at the Saturday evening event and various classmates took impromptu, spontaneous photos at other times during the weekend.  The professionals generated over 300 images of our classmates reconnecting and celebrating a fantastic, memorable evening with one another and a number of our former teachers.   Erik Owen and John Suson had the huge pleasure and honor of videoing several of these teachers as we toured the halls of our alma mater, Brookfield Central High School, prior to the major renovations of the school that took place this past year.  From all of these things, we have been able to organize and compile over an hour of video onto a DVD which is truly unique and amazing.  It is formatted as a show/movie and we’re sure that you will enjoy it immensely!  Included in that DVD are:

1)Photos of our past collected from high school days and beyond over the last 25 years.

2)Video interview segments with Mr. Jay Zimmerman (Physics), Mrs. Kay (Knudsen) Esposito (English), Mr. Pete Wysocki (student supervisor and coach), and Mr. John Boie (principal).

3)Over 300 professional photos of the Saturday August 8th evening event.  These are provided to you in standard jpeg format and also many have been combined along with other informal photos of the weekend and teacher interviews into a video presentation.

4)Files containing letters from former teachers to our class.

5)The Memory Book (in Word format) which was based on questionnaires filled out by all of you prior to the reunion.  Thanks to Judith Kellett Wasserman and Jane Groskopf Westreich.

6)The awesome recreation at the 25th Reunion of the immortal and unforgettable Don Winter’s basketball game cheer!  Caught on video by JP Just!!!  Nice work, JP!!

And finally, we have put together a moving video message from 2 of our very special classmates, Paul Lemley and Chris Godfrey.  Each of them has been diagnosed and treated for terminal cancer.  Both are currently doing well but their futures are uncertain. They generously gave us their perspectives on life, reflecting on the past and our reunion, as well as looking forward.

All proceeds will go towards paying for the professional photographer fees and to replenishing our class funds which will be used for future BCHS class of 1984 reunion events.  The cost of the DVD is only $20 and includes shipping !!!
